PROFILES 458 domestic fixed line operators have been profiled for this directory. Profiles consist of company contact information, management contacts and additional profiling information. Profiles consist of the operator’s brand name, company name, previous names, address, telephone number, fax, URL, stipulation of whether they are state or privately owned, parent company information, geographic focus, launch date, management contacts as well as identification of services offered (voice, Internet, TV and mobile). Information is provided where possible meaning that not every profile contains all of the information listed above. MANAGEMENT CONTACTS The main focus of our directories series is to provide telecoms professionals with the information they require to contact the decision makers within the global telecoms industry. This directory contains 2,220 named contacts spread across 458 fixed line operators. Out of the total 2,220 named contacts there are 329 Chief Executive Officers, 202 Chief Financial Officers, 133 Chief Technology Officers and 71 Chief Information Officers, 57 Chief Operating Officers, 117 Chief Marketing Officers, 55 Commercial Officers, 109 Chief Human Resources Officers, 54 Customer Care Officers and 85 managers identified as being in charge of regulatory issues. Please note that in researching the directory certain job titles were matched with the above job types. For instance, General Directors / Director Generals have been classed as CEOs. The remaining contacts are managers from multiple disciplines ranging to Vice Presidents through to Heads of strategically important departments. Therefore the directory is best used for contacting the most senior officers within individual operators. However, it also works as an excellent starting point in finding key executives within unique departments. The directory does not provide any e-mail addresses or direct dial telephone numbers. Criteria for inclusion were that the operator had to own a fixed line network over which it provides telecommunication services within a country. This criterion excludes operators engaged solely in international traffic handling (such as submarine cable operators), leased cost routing, WLL only services and mobile (including virtual) network operators. The result is a database which in the main contains fixed line networks operating services over copper lines or fibre optic networks. Once the research list had been created the researchers set about gathering the data for each profile. This process consists of mainly reviewing online materials available from and about the operator being profiled, its parent organisations, telecommunications regulators and government bodies as well as reviewing industry resources such as research services, news articles and press releases by both operators and vendors. The researchers rely on information provided by operators, parent companies and regulators being accurate. Therefore Blycroft can not be held liable for any inaccuracy in the directory or associated losses where data is found to be incorrect. By purchasing the directory all buyers accept this term and acknowledge that churn within management functions occurs. In researching the contact information customer service contacts have been used in a few instances where no alternative contact information could be found. |
